THE SUPPER CLUB

“When the food is shared, there is no hunger.” – African Proverb

The AfroVybe Supper Club is an intimate dining experience that brings people together through the flavors, stories, and traditions of Africa and the diaspora. Each gathering features thoughtfully curated menus, cultural elements like music or storytelling, and a warm, communal atmosphere that fosters connection. More than a meal, it’s a celebration of heritage, creativity, and the power of sharing food to build community.

The Supper Club started as a way to inspire curiosity within the Boston community and the diaspora, inviting people to explore and experience the richness of diverse African cuisines for themselves. African food is never just about what’s on the plate—it holds stories, traditions, and deep cultural meaning that connect us to our roots. Communal dining is a powerful act of gathering, where food becomes medicine, and the table becomes a space for storytelling, celebration, mourning, healing, and joy. Through the AfroVybe Supper Club, we honor Africa’s culinary heritage while creating opportunities for connection, reflection, and shared experience.

AfroVybe is on a mission to building a community of like-minded global citizens—curious souls who share a desire to learn, connect, and explore the world together through food, culture, travel, and meaningful experiences.
